The La Chamba Oval Dish Size 7 is a traditional piece of handcrafted Colombian cookware designed to move effortlessly from cooking to serving. Made by hand from dark grey clay and finished in La Chamba's distinctive black appearance, this versatile cookware has roots stretching back more than 700 years in South American culinary tradition.

Designed for impressive versatility, the oval dish can be used on the stovetop, in the oven, microwave and under the grill, as well as over direct gas, on the barbecue or even an open fire. Its generous 43cm length makes it ideal for preparing and serving larger dishes straight to the table.

Care:
Before first use, clean with mild detergent, fill the dish three-quarters full with water and place in the oven at 200°C for 30 minutes to seal. Wooden utensils are recommended to help prevent scratching. While dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended to maintain the natural patina, as harsh detergents and dishwashing may dull the surface.

Here at Thomas’s Department Store, we understand that you may wish to return an item or purchase from time to time.

You have 5 business days, from original date of purchase, to complete an in-store exchange or return. Online exchanges or returns must be returned to us for processing within 10 days, from original date of purchase.

Full price items are eligible for an exchange or store credit.

Sale, Swimwear, Underwear, Earrings, Sunglasses, Skincare, Personal care items, Consumable goods and Custom orders will not be returned or exchanged.
